Mmmm, Mmmm S'Mores

I have been craving S'Mores lately, so I decided to make a fire in our fire pit tonight, for Logan and I to have one for dessert. Logan has never had a S'More before, and his only comment was "Mmmm" with a smile. Gotta love that! He really enjoyed sticking his finger in the chocolate and marshmallow the best, and then licking it off.

Laundry with Logan

I was folding laundry this afternoon, and Logan decided to help me, but his help was unfolding all the towels, sheets, and socks and piling them up instead :) Learning is so much fun!!!

ABC's in the bathtub...

Logan loves to sing, and he knows lots of songs, but it is rare that we can get him to sing when the camera is present (he is now getting camera-shy). Of course though, when taking a bath this past weekend for Mamaw, he decided to sing the ABC's all the way through, not once, but twice :) Enjoy!

Remembering Fran

This past weekend, my sister Amanda came out to spend time in Loveland with us and our great friends/family Nick and Aunt Lo Lo (as Logan decided to call her). It was a great weekend, and a wonderful place to be to remember our dear friend Fran, who passed away a year ago. In spending time with the horses, sitting on the back porch admiring the view, going for a hike, sitting around the kitchen counter eating and talking, and finding post-it-notes in various places with reminders on them, you could see and feel Fran in everything. We truly miss her and feel blessed to have had her in our lives.
