We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! Ours was busy, but fun. On Saturday we started the day off with our community Easter egg hunt. We did not know what to expect, but let me just say that it took us longer to get there, than it did for Logan, and the crowd of other kids & parents, to pick up every last egg! It was an experience! Logan had more fun picking up eggs and putting them in other kids baskets!! We decided that next year we would put on our own hunt in a nearby park with the neighbors :)
On Sunday, I got up at 3:30 am to go to the sunrise service at Red Rocks Amphitheater with a neighbor. It was cold, but well worth it! What a beautiful and memorable morning! Check out those colors...AMAZING!!
After breakfast, we had Easter with Logan. We created a trail of eggs and gifts for him to pick up starting on the basement steps and ending in the basement where his basket of goodies and other gifts were. It was fun and relaxing, and Logan enjoyed all his gifts, but most of all the candy inside the eggs :)
We joined our neighbors in the afternoon for a potluck Easter dinner, and another egg hunt. It was a beautiful day, and we spent the time enjoying good food, conversation, and the wonderful sunny day!
All in all a fabulous weekend! I love Easter! We hope you enjoy all our weekend pictures in our Easter album.
Love to you all ~ Julia
