A quick trip back to Texas

August started off with Logan and I taking a trip back down to Texas to be there while my mom had surgery to fix a complication from surgery she had a year ago - crazy I know- but thank goodness all went well, and she is doing GREAT. It was really a great visit, and Logan and I were very happy to be there to help, and hang out with Nana, Papa and GG.


Logan go to swim almost every morning, and has become fearless of the water when he has his wings on. He would actually ask for them even before we got outside. He was swimming, or floating more like it, all over the pool by himself.



When Papa had a morning off, we took Logan to see the Grapevine Train Museum, and he loved it! Of course, the best part was getting to climb on the trains with Papa, and even had a bit of a fit when it was time to leave :) He loves trains, and had been asking for a Thomas the Train set for his birthday, so this was so cool!
