Happy Halloween! We hope you had a fun & safe night, and enjoyed the holiday as much as we did! Logan and I rested for most of the day, knowing it would be a late night, and it was! When Andy got home from work, we carved our pumpkins. We tried to get Logan to help, but he was clearly turned off by the slimy, smelly, stringy, messy insides of the pumpkin & would touch them with one finger and cringe. Check out that concern on his face...who does that remind you of ???? :) maybe next year!
After pumpkin carving, we got ready for the night. Logan's favorite part of his costume was the face paint, and when I put it on, he would smile and look at himself in the mirror with delight - too cute! Once ready, we walked across the street to our neighbors house for a garage party, ate some food and then headed off for trick-or-treating with our neighbor Rylan.
Logan LOVED trick-or-treating this year. It was great fun watching him as he went up to each house ringing the doorbell and saying trick-or-treat all by himself. Then he would hurry to the next house for more candy. The best part was when people saw him and said "look a skunk!" he would immediately chime in with a "PSSSSSSS" and then hold his nose saying "ewww stinky skunk." just as we had talked about all week! It was too funny.
After trick-or-treating, we headed back to the party for more food and candy, of course! Logan ran around with a sugar buzz, and over tiredness until we started finding him sitting in a chair zoning. Around 8:30 we headed home, and Logan was in bed by 9. It was such a fun night, and the best part was how much fun Logan had. Gotta love Halloween!!!
